about the integrate of other language in DSpace

Hello,

I setup a localhost repository for my college that include the assignment and project report that is in Gujarati and Marathi Languages. I create a separate collection according to language and I successfully created messages_gu.xml, etc. language file to translate the page in different language by follow this link https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC6x/XMLUI+Configuration+and+Customization. and also edit the file in local.cfg file, gu etc.

But when I click the language-wise sorting everything is OK but on the above search bar there is alphabetical sorting option that is in English alphabet . But I want to sort by Gujarati and Marathi language also. It also appears browse by in author-wise, title-wise etc.

Can anybody help-me how to do this.

We have this issue as well and hope to eventually see another category such as "Non-Roman Script" or "Other".

Our current workaround is to sort by title (or contributor, subject or any other browse category) in descending order. That causes non-Roman script titles to sort to the top. Then you can page through the results to help find what you need.

Hope that helps, and if there are more elegant solutions, maybe someone will post here.
