Hi,

I am planning to set up and customise DSpace 7.6 for our team and intend to build it using a microservices architecture. Here’s my proposed setup for the out-of-the-box DSpace services:

1. Angular UI deployed as an Azure App Service
2. Spring Boot backend deployed as an Azure App Service
3. Apache Solr hosted in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) – I’m considering containerizing it, but I would appreciate suggestions on whether it can be deployed as an Azure App Service instead.
4. PostgreSQL as a managed service
5. Azure Blob Storage for file storage

Could you please validate if this architecture would integrate and function seamlessly, or if there are any potential bottlenecks or points of failure I should be aware of?

Thank you for the guidance.

Thanks,
Abdul
