RePEc indexing in DSpace

Hello DSpace Community!

I am the application administrator for a DSpace instance (DSpace v8) at my academic institution. We are consulting with our economics department, who wish to decommission their RePEc server, which hosts departmental working papers, but retain a solution for these papers to be indexed by RePEc. We are exploring a potential DSpace-centric solution where the papers are ingested into our DSpace instance and a recurring process generates the necessary redif metadata file and copies it to a web-accessible directory. We have some ideas how to do this (including a crosswalking script to create the redif metadata), but we were hoping to engage with others in the community who have explored or implemented a similar solution. We would be appreciative of any guidance or materials from others who have done this.
