Menu colors on 7.6.0 mobile view

Good afternoon! We’re using DSpace 7.6.0 and have an issue where the menus on the mobile views of the site show up as solid blocks of color where the menu choices are invisible. If you want to see this, please go to https://kuscholarworks.ku.edu on your phone or other mobile device--I’ve had reports from users of iPads, too--and click the icon to show the menu.
If you are in a reverse video or Dark theme, you can see the menu choices, but not if you are using the normal theme. We would like the menu to display with a pale/white background and dark text, as other menus do in the desktop view.
I’ve seen this issue on one other 7.6 repository, but not all. Has anyone found the solution to this and could you please share it in detail offline if you have? I will summarize responses for the list.
