You
are invited to participate in a research project
studying how institutions choose to host open-source software designed
for galleries, libraries, archives, and museums. The study is open to
all who have input in IT purchasing decisions, whether they are members
of IT units or not.
Participation includes filling out a brief
anonymous survey that will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.
This survey will ask you about open-source software at your institution
and how your institution chose to host said software.
Participation
is voluntary, and responses will be kept confidential. You can choose
to stop taking the survey at any time and withdraw from the study.
Participation or non-participation will not impact your relationship
with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
