I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to seek your assistance regarding an issue we are encountering with email notifications in DSpace version 7.6.2.
I have noticed that both new user registration and password reset requests are resulting in the delivery of only the password reset email. Both links in the digital library home page direct users to their respective pages, but only password reset email is generated for new users also. This is despite the fact that the email templates for these two functions are different. As a result, new users are unable to register. We have upgraded DSpace from 5.6 to 7.6.2
I would greatly appreciate any guidance or solutions you may have to resolve this issue. If anyone has experienced a similar problem or has insights into the configuration of email notifications in this version, your assistance would be invaluable.
