AYUDA: no envia contraseña al crear los usuarios

Buen día, podrían por favor, orientarme, instale el backend y el frontend 7.6 en linux ubuntu 23. Necesito crear usuarios, cuando lo hago, dspace me muestra que se le ha enviado la contraseña al nuevo usuario pero voy y reviso el correo pero no envia nada... de antemano muchas gracias!

Olá José.

Verifique primero si MX está configurado correctamente en local.cfg.

Hola buen día Leandro, muchisimas gracias por su apoyo!

He revisado el local.cfg en la sección de EMAIL CONFIGURATION y lo único que cambiado es:

mail.server=smtp.gmail.com

mail.server.port=587

asi com tambien mail.server.username, mail.server.password, y mail.from.address...

Con respecto a los MX, nose si debo configurar mi computadora linux como servidor?

Good morning.
I am creating new users from the administrator account, I create the user, I cannot assign them a password and they do not receive the email to follow the steps to confirm their account.

However, I received notification in the administrator's email account.

How can I check this configuration if it is ok or not?

Hi Emilia,

If you create users from administrator end you can not set a password for them. They have to click on forgot password and insert the email your registered for them and then they will receive a link to set/reset the password. That's the way it is...
