The DSpace Technical Support Engineer will work with the DSpace Technical Lead to help ensure the success of DSpace contributors and users. DSpace is an open source digital repository platform used by more than 3,000 organizations world-wide to host and
manage institutional, subject-based, dataset, and media repositories. The DSpace Technical Support Engineer will diagnose issues, answer questions, triage bugs and pull requests, test changes to the DSpace software, and contribute to DSpace documentation and training material. As time and skills permit, the DSpace Technical Support Engineer may also contribute directly to the DSpace code base through coding of bug fixes and reviews of pull requests. This role will have a direct impact on the adoption, reliability, and community experience of the DSpace software.
This is a full-time remote term position through June 2028, with the possibility for continuation dependent upon funding.
