Hello there,

I'd like to make some small changes to the cc license section, which will be part of our submission form.

Right now it looks like this:

The dropdown menu contains "CC0" twice. I would like to remove one of them and add a new option "According to German copyright law" instead.

Also, for practical purposes we don't need the whole selection of countries in "Jurisdiction of your License", it should just default to "Germany".

Can I make these changes myself and if so where?

Thank you and kind regards

Matthias

I added a screenshot but it seems that it cannot be inserted. Anyway, the dropdown menu in the section contains three options by default:

1. CC0
2. Creative Commons
3. CC0

I would like to remove one of these CC0, insert a new option and rephrase the designations. So in the end it should look like this

1. public domain dedication (CC0)
2. free creative commons license
3. according to German copyright law

Thank you

Hi Matthias,

The issue with CC0 appearing twice can be solved in your configuration.  We have a new update to the configuration of Creative Commons which will be added in DSpace 7.6, but you could make these small changes in your site immediately (as they should work in any DSpace 7.x release).  The changes are shown in this PR and need to be made to your dspace.cfg or local.cfg.
