Adding new custom theme in DSpace 7.2 NOT working

Good day Everyone,

   We have tried to get the DSpace 7.2, and create a new custom theme folder as per instructions. As we copy/paste the Custom folder change the name add it into angular json, as well as introduce the theme in config.dev.yaml. As we run the DSpace 7.2 frontend with our theme the UI starts but in search results we are seeing exceptions. Could we get any help here, thank you

Hi Pragash,

This was an issue with the "custom" base theme which was accidentally introduced in the 7.2 release.  We unfortunately didn't discover it until after 7.2 was released.

Here's the issue ticket:

It's since been fixed in our latest code.   If you'd like to fix it locally, you can apply the changes in these two commits to your theme:

• Small  fix to the "custom" theme: https://github.com/DSpace/dspace-angular/commit/fba1dfb689b18263b5c7ef9e92f301f6d2e2b528 
• Very small fix in the default "navbar" (could also be applied at the theme level): https://github.com/DSpace/dspace-angular/commit/2830da955739b61c91c15f587051b0d75f4e5464

Or you could alternatively pull down the latest code for the Angular UI.
