The orcid-message reports an error: Resource not found: null for uri: http://pub.orcid.org

Dear DSpace Colleagues,

On item submission when I enter user surname and firstname then click on Lookup & Add button dspace site is able to show people added on our dspace database, it is failing to check authors from ORCID API databases, I have checked if i can connect to ORCID API sites on port 80 and 443 using telnet and the results says connected as follows:

$ telnet pub.orcid.org 80
Trying 104.20.229.70...
Connected to pub.orcid.org.
Escape character is '^]'.
Connection closed by foreign host.

 

From our log file when searching orcid for any errors I get the following details :

2021-04-06 07:58:39,179 ERROR org.dspace.authority.orcid.xml.XMLtoBio @ The orcid-message reports an error: Resource not found: null for uri: http://pub.orcid.org/orcid-pub-web/search/orcid-bio?q=%22Nicholson+Denise%22&start=0&rows=14

Please advise what could be the cause of this problem or any suggestion that I may look at for fixing, the network colleagues here confirmed there is no firewall blockage on this server to communicate with orcid.org using port 80 and 443, I am on dspace 6.2 and server operating system is : CentOS Linux release 7.4.1708 (Core)
