Greetings everyone,

Recently my friend notices that their Dspace Cris handle URI did not working. When we click on the URI, it prompt to "No item found for the identifier". I will attached along with the screenshot and example of links.

This is the version they used:
{ "dspaceUI": "https://studentrepo.iium.edu.my", "dspaceName": "IIUM Student Repository", "dspaceServer": "https://studentrepo.iium.edu.my/server", "dspaceVersion": "DSpace 7.6.1", "crisVersion": "cris-2023.02.05", "type": "root" }

Before this we read somewhere in the tech group that they have to re-installing (build). And it did not works. Does they have to use the other version or how?

Appreciate all the helps.

May god bless,

Hi Fatimah

Even if the page below is for older versions of DSpace, it is still relevant.

1)They need to register and pay for a handle prefix
2)Setup handle as per instructions on page above

Regards

Hi Gustav,

Thanks a lot for your response.

Actually, the version before CRIS-2023-02-04, which used the dummy handle 123456789/123, was working well, but now it is not.

Does it means that latest CRIS version after 2023-02-04, the dummy handle cannot be used anymore?
