Dspace 6.4 integrating with ORCID

I am working for a small academic library in Africa. We developed our institutional repository in 2019 using dspace 6.4 in order to increase visibility of university scholarship,. However, we tried to link our researchers with their ORCID ID and failed. My research led me to the conclusion that Dspace 7.4 can help us find solutions to our problems. Therefore, I'm asking if anyone here has a grant proposal for upgrading Dspace from its previous version to the new version, please share it with us because we need to source funds for the service. If there is anyone willing to assist us to migrate to Dspace 7.4 we are happy to welcome because we are lacking the technical how, currently we largely depending on reading and researching to make our platform fully function.
