We have SSL working but need to do some tweaks now. The announcement email for new additions to the repository points to http: not https: And in the record metadata the dc.identifier.uri shows as http not https: Where can I change these? Maybe there are some other places I've not noticed that also need to be changed?

First thing I would check is the value of 'dspace.baseUrl', in
config/local.cfg, and then 'dspace.url'.

You'll also probably need to do a bulk update of the dc.identifier.uri values to get https:// in there, as that's just metadata that isn't updated with the baseUrl.
It's possible the update-handle-prefixes script will do this for you, but I'm not sure about that so don't run in production without testing :)

I'd also recommend setting your frontend Apache, or Tomcat, to do a 301 redirect on http:// requests so they all get redirected to the https:// version of the URL, as you never know what links people have saved to your repository / items.
