Upload error "Upload Failed"

Hello Friends
Hope that email finds you well.
I am using the DSPACE 7.5 version, currently I am facing a problem in uploading.
Once i select a file for upload it give error "Upload Failed" .
What should I do?. Please advise me.

Good morning!   I have a couple of questions that might help us answer this.  Are there other files that will upload or will none upload?  If other files will upload, how large is the file that won’t upload?   There are size limits that are in place that can be raised, but that may not be the problem that you are facing.

Hi,

You will need to gather more information about the underlying error by using our Troubleshooting guide at https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSPACE/Troubleshoot+an+error#Troubleshootanerror-DSpace7.x(orabove)  The cause of the error might be visible in your browser's DevTools, or it might be in the backend logs.  Please follow that guide.

Once you find the underlying error, you can share it here if you need help in resolving it.

Hi,
is this issue sorted? I am getting the same error for every upload in my DSpace too. Currently using DSpace 7.5.

Hi,

As noted in my prior message, we need more information about the underlying error.  I suspect it's a backend or frontend error that is occurring (possibly even a permissions error or similar).  So, to debug this isssue, you would need to follow our Troubleshooting guide at https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSPACE/Troubleshoot+an+error#Troubleshootanerror-DSpace7.x(orabove)  and look for error details in the frontend or backend.

Hi,

Are you using Ubuntu as the OS? If so, please check whether auto updates are active. When I was going through logs, I realized that an auto update had occurred on that day, and thereafter log4j stopped working. Looking for different solutions now. :(
