We have an exciting opportunity for you! The 4Science team is delighted to invite you to our hybrid workshop, "From Digital Records to Digital Cultural Landscapes: Beyond Digital Library Boundaries with DSpace." This workshop will take place both live at the JCDL conference in Santa Fe and online.

Join us as we explore the power of DSpace in managing digital cultural contents and learn how to model captivating digital cultural landscapes. The primary focus of this workshop will be on demonstrating effective techniques for managing digital cultural contents in DSpace, enabling you to model digital cultural landscapes as Networks, Paths, or Aggregations. Through an informative workflow, real-life examples, and relevant use cases, we will provide valuable insights into leveraging the potential of DSpace. It is worth noting that while the showcased methodology will be specifically tailored to DSpace, it can be successfully implemented in any system that possesses sufficiently granular and consistent metadata and an extensible data model.

This sounds like an amazing opportunity — for those of us who can’t make it, will any components be shared publicly afterwards?

Thanks,
Paige
