Issue with Item Display on DSpace 9 Community Page

Dear Community,
We have installed DSpace 9, and we noticed that when we click on a Community page, all items are displayed—including items from Sub-communities and Collections.
We would like to hide these items so that only Communities and Sub-communities are visible on the Community page. Items should only be displayed when a specific Collection is selected.
Please advise how we can achieve this configuration
DSpace Community
By default, DSpace displays the "search" tab on all Communities and Collections. But, you can change this by modifying the "defaultBrowseTab" options in your frontend config file (config.*.yml). It sounds like you'd want it set to "comcols" to see the communities & collections by default. Dear Team,
We have made the changes as per the given instructions, but they are not reflecting in DSpace. My concern is that when we click on the Community page, only the Collections are displayed, and the Items are not visible. The Items are displayed only when we go inside the Collection. The Item page is not displaying under the Community, only the Collections are
