Save the Date!

The sixth annual Northeast Institutional Repository Day (NIRD24) will be held on Thursday, December 5th (afternoon ET) and Friday, December 6th (morning ET), 2024. 

The Northeast Institutional Repository Day is a free event that brings together those in the Northeast (and beyond!) who manage or are interested in institutional repositories, digital collections, and digital preservation. 

NIRD24 will continue its recent tradition as a virtual conference, however we have an exciting announcement! We are hosting an in-person “NIRD24 Watch Party” in Cambridge, MA at Harvard University for this year’s NIRD. Attendees will be able to register to watch the conference together and have a chance to meet each other in person! This is a NEW EXPERIMENT for our conference, but we are hoping some of you can attend and join us in some of the pre/post-conference activities we are working on.

The NIRD24 Program Committee will be issuing a call for proposals soon, and registration will be announced this fall. Please let us know if you have any questions and we hope you can join us!
