Add new link to nav-bar

Hi and greetings. 

I would like to ask, how can I add another link to the navigation bar? This is an example where I put it in folder /opt/dspace/src/themes .........

But it won't affect much even I put on additional coding to center the "new link". I think I should change it directly to API. Can someone assist me on this matter?

Hi all,

As this question has become a "frequently asked question" regarding updating themes, I've added an example of adding a new link to the navigation bar in our docs at https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC7x/User+Interface+Customization#UserInterfaceCustomization-CustomizeNavigationLinksinHeader 

This is just a basic example which shows how to use simple HTML to add a new link to that navigation bar.
