Dear DSpace Community,
The Lyrasis CST Interoperability Project is soliciting input on community interoperability needs for DSpace. Through this project Lyrasis is supporting DSpace, and the other Community Supported Technologies (CST) at Lyrasis, by defining, and eventually implementing, new interoperability solutions that will expand their potential. I am collecting ideas for what a DSpace interoperability looks like, then evaluating and proposing a solution to the community based on my analysis of the feedback you’ve shared. To get involved, please take these steps!
Fill out the survey by Jan. 15th to shape the future of the interoperability project.
Join the conversation to refine ideas and define user behaviors. You can choose from two spaces or follow both; updates will be provided to keep information in sync.

Thank you to everyone who has provided feedback in the past month! I have met with the leadership team and staff, and now I am turning to user groups and any community members.
Please consider filling out the survey and sharing it with colleagues who are users of DSpace. The survey gives users and other stakeholders an opportunity to suggest integration ideas.
For more background on the Interoperability project, please see the Lyrasis blog post and our project website.
Sincerely,
Jess Farrell
