Social media account custodian needed

The DSNC Board decided this evening to transfer control of the organization's social media accounts to join Election Committee and Outreach Committee control for the duration of the election, to facilitate updates. That by default was Rebecca and me, but I protested that I don't use most social media and wouldn't really know what to do with it. So they decided I should find someone else more capable. Which is where one of you hopefully comes in!

We don't need someone to commit to be the DSNC social media manager forever, just for the next 2 weeks until we get a new board and reconstitute our committees. I assume we just need to make one post on each platform announcing the election? We have official accounts for:

• Facebook
• Twitter
• Bluesky
• Mastodon
• Reddit
• Instagram

We can copy verbiage from the emails and press releases we're already generating.

I see this needs doing but it's really not a job I'm competent to do.  I have only ever logged on to two of those platforms in my life.  

Is there someone the board can think of who *is* social media literate who we can directly ask about this?  (Anyone in the DSNC membership, not just on these two committees).

I can definitely contribute to creating social media posts and managing accounts. I have a lot of experience using Canva, also am 27 and know how to make community engagement content thru my job at City. 

Just need brand guide — or authority to create one— and the substance of the content
