The DSNC Board decided this evening to transfer control of the organization's social media accounts to join Election Committee and Outreach Committee control for the duration of the election, to facilitate updates. That by default was Rebecca and me, but I protested that I don't use most social media and wouldn't really know what to do with it. So they decided I should find someone else more capable. Which is where one of you hopefully comes in!
We don't need someone to commit to be the DSNC social media manager forever, just for the next 2 weeks until we get a new board and reconstitute our committees. I assume we just need to make one post on each platform announcing the election? We have official accounts for:
We can copy verbiage from the emails and press releases we're already generating.
