Weights for canopy tent legs

Hi everyone, Someone has offered to lend us a tent for ArtBeat. They do not have weights for the legs as requested by the Arts Council. I have ankle weights that are five pounds each which might be ok combined on one leg. Do any of you have weights or sandbags we can use? What do you think about using the tent without weights? -Marilyn

I spoke with my neighbor who has had a tent at artbeat for years. She says they don't have weights and if it seems like a problem buy gallon jugs of water at the convenience store.
