DSNC friends,

I wanted to forward an invitation to come hear all 9 of the candidates who are running for the open seats in the 27th and 34th Middlesex House districts and 2nd Middlesex Senate districts debate. All three of the legislators who represent Davis Sq. are guaranteed to be new next year with Sen. Jehlen's retirement and Reps. Barber and Uyterhoeven forgoing re-election in order to run to succeed her in the Senate—so its a big year and if you want to make an informed choice on September 1st please consider coming! RSVP for arrival instructions here.

On August 1st the Somerville Democratic Party will hold 3 debates from 5-8 pm at the East Somerville Community School (50 Cross St.).

5:00 PM 34th Middlesex State House Debate: Will Mbah, Chris Oates, and Paul Ruseau

6:00 PM 2nd Middlesex State Senate Debate: Burhan Azeem, Christine Barber, Matthew McLaughlin, and Erika Uyterhoeven (Thomas Hopcroft has withdrawn from the race.)

7:00 PM 27th Middlesex State Rep Debate: Ben Ewen-Campen and Olivia Gilligan-Corsetti

Sign up to attend at: https://www.mobilize.us/massdems/event/998693/

There are no Republican, 3rd party, or unenrolled candidates for any of these legislative districts, so the September 1st Democratic Primary will be the decisive election. All registered Democrats and unenrolled voters may vote on or before September 1st. To find your district, sample ballot, or early voting information visit SomervilleMassDems.org/vote
