The Dec courses in Boone and the stars
Anytime is a great time to be with the Master but there times when one cannot afford to miss the opportunity of being in His presence. I have never really looked at the configuration of the planets in the sky when planning a course with Guruji but something jumped out and is quite remarkable about the courses during Christmas time in Boone.
The period from Dec. 13th to Jan. 13th is known as Dhanur Masa i.e the month Sun spends in the sign of Sagittarius. In some parts of India marriages are not held and this month is reserved for spiritual practices. This period for 2014 is even more auspicious.
There is an exalted and retrograde Jupiter in Cancer. In Vedic astrology, retrograde planets get more strength (bala) since they are closer to Earth. This configuration makes Jupiter extremely strong. Directly opposite to that there is an exalted Mars in Capricorn forming an extremely powerful Guru Mangala yoga. To make things more potent is a Parivartana or exchange between Saturn sitting in Scorpio; (the house of Mars) and Mars sitting in Capricorn; (the home of Saturn) and this configuration lends to the natural enemies working together for mutual benefit. Also there are three Grahas namely Venus, Sun and Mercury in Sagittarius which is owned by Jupiter and as previously stated is exalted which gives strength to the above three planets. Jupiter also aspects Saturn, Mars along Ketu which is also very comfortably placed in Pisces. Thus six of Grahas are either receiving aspects or in the home of Jupiter, the great benefic.
In all these years I have never seen such a powerful combination for a course or to go on a pilgrimage. In my humble opinion, it is a great opportunity to be with the Master and be part of a big transformation that appears to be in the charts.
