Job Title:          Drupal Developer - 3

Locations:        Anywhere in contiguous USA 

Reports to:       Director of Operations - US

 

Essential Duties

• Reviewing current systems.
  
• Developing new systems – Drupal 7 or 8 platform.
  
• Coming up with ideas for system improvements and presenting them with with time and cost proposals.
  
• Working closely with a team of other staff including system admins, designers, account managers, quality assurance, and project managers.
  
• Testing your work in both a controlled and live environment.
  
• Providing training to end users.
  
• Maintaining both individual and team systems once they have gone live.
  

 

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience programming in the Drupal platform.
  
• Minimum 3 years on PHP and MySQL.
  
• Proven track record of project completion.
  
• Must be willing & able to work the hours necessitated by the job.
  
• Creative problem solving skills to solve customer problems and handle objections.
  
• Ability to learn new industry, products/ services quickly / thoroughly – may require independent, self-study.
  
• Strong organizational time management and prioritization skills.
  
• Excellent oral and written communication skills- ability to actively listen.
  
• Follows company practices/policies.
  
• Adheres to the minimum standards of performance as established by manager.
  
• Demonstrates ability and willingness to work extra hours as required by the job.

I would appreciate some context for this posting. I'm sure this was unintentional, but it seems a bit sketchy to post in this forum without vital information such as who I should contact about this position.

I need to know the following:

• What company is this position for, what is the background of that company, and where are they located?

• What clients would I be potentially working with?

• Specifically, who should I send my resume to?

You ask good questions. 

If they said who it was for, or slightly less specifically where, applicants could bypass the recruiter, so they're not going to publish that. 

Otherwise, either sketchy or more probably just inexperienced. 

Check out the domain of the sender's email address.  That is sketchy.

Hi everyone,

Let me clear a couple things up:

JP owns and manages eWay Corp, which is his sending domain: http://www.ewaycorp.com/ He has several locations, one of which is Clive, IA (visit his website). Most, if not all, employees work remotely.

eWay Corp is a reputable development shop that does business with many companies, including those in the Des Moines area.

The position posted is for a Drupal developer. JP laid out very specific job duties and requirements as such in posting here and in our Facebook group.

I did realize after approving the post that he didn't specifically mention the company or directions for how to apply in the description itself. I apologize if the lack of information made the post feel like spam. 

I'll rely on JP to provide any follow-up information to the group. However, I can vouch that it is indeed a legitimate job posting for Drupal development.
