Frank,

I averaged two DTI acquisitions from the same subject together at the src step and exported the b-table and the and a NIFTI image of the src file. Due to some crashes I was having in the reconstruction step, I opted to motion/eddy current correct outside the DSI gui using FSL's eddy_current and then reconstruct using the command line.

When I load up the image pushed through eddy_current, I noticed the motion has been corrected but the b-table for the image is exactly the same (stored from the src where it was made I assume).

Are these the correct values to use or does the eddy current correction need to be accounted for in the b-table?

If so, how would I do so?

Hi Thomas,

Yo can use the original bval and bvec for the reconstruction. The eddy current correction does not need to correct for b-table. (motion correction, however, needs to correct for b-table).

Best,
Frank
