Hello DSI Studio expert,

I have collected DTI data from patients with multiple sclerosis who have lesions in the white matter.

I would like to know:

1. What is the best method for analyzing the integrity of the cortico-thalamo-cortical loop?

2. How can I see which bundles are affected by the lesions?

Thank you,

Alberto

1. Use autotrack to map thalamocortical pathways and get tract statistics.
2. Delineate white matter lesions on T2 flair, and use it as ROI to run fiber tracking.

Best regards
Frank

Thank you for your reply.

How can I run autotrack for the thalamocortical pathways?
For point 2, do you think it is the right approach to see which bundles have been affected by lesion?

1. Please check out tutorial videos at practicum.labsolver.org
2. It depends on your definition of the "right approach"

I want to know the bundle (not how many fibers) names

I would suggest checking out neuroanatomy books. The tract recognition function map also help as a reference.
