Hi Frank,

I encountered some issues while using DSI Studio to delineate the ROI for DTI-ALPS.

I have a set of adult DTI data. When I delineated the ROI for Subject 1 and saved the ROI file, I could successfully load and apply it to Subject 2 without any problems.

However, I am now working with another dataset consisting of pediatric participants (aged 2-4 years). After carefully delineating the ROI for the first pediatric subject and saving it, I tried to load this ROI file for the second pediatric subject. At that moment, I encountered the error shown in the image below.

Could you please advise what might be causing this issue? Is this likely related to the smaller brain size and ongoing neurodevelopment in this young age group, which might affect spatial normalization or ROI registration across different subjects?

Thank you very much for your time and support.微信图片_2025-08-21_201921_966.png

Here's the steps I would do.

1. At [FIB Templates & Tractography Atlas] -> Open the [human] or [human neonate] template -> draw ROI and save it
2. Open Subject's FIB file at [Tractography][Step T3 Fiber Tracking] and make sure the template shown at Step T2a is [human] or [human neonate] -> open the ROI using top menu [Regions][Open MNI region]
