Hi Frank,
Apologies if my question is basic; I'm pretty new to dsi and white matter analyses. I tried to do roi based fiber tracking for 3 groups of people (using thier dti data - reconstruction method: QSDR) and check if the number of tracts and fa, qa, and MD values are different between them in the tracts that start at the cingulum, pass through the isthmus cingulate, and end at the hippocampus. I know that I should use the cingulum as a "seed." I checked the documentation, but I am still a little confused about when to use ROI vs. ROA. Currently, I used the isthmuscingulate as "ROI" and the hippocampus as "END". Does that sound reasonable? Also, in the T3b window, when I look at the tracts from the sagittal view, they seem a little odd to me and I don't know why:
