Hello,

I'm trying to visualize .tt files and I'm having an issue with the template being off from where the tracts appear:

dsi_issue.png

I'm having this issue with all my tract files that I've tried, though I've done this with the same files previously and they aligned! I'm opening by going to FIB Template & Tractography Atlas loading the human atlas. Then I go to 'tracts' and 'open tracts' - the bar said 0/100 for awhile until the tract appears (the bar doesn't show it progress beyond 0). I tracked these files with the built-in human atlas. I'm using the Hou version that I downloaded in June 2025, but I did try re-downloading it today and get the same issue with the latest software.

Thank you for your time!

Best,
Lexi

Hi Lexi,

It looks like the tracts are in the subject space and thus won't match the template. Did you use GQI or QSDR to create the FIB file and the tracts?
Best,
Frank

Hi Frank,

All the fib files used for tracking were GQI. Is it possible to register/normalize it visualization purposes? My goal is to show all the streamlines between two specific regions from the Brainnetome atlas in representative individual's networks.

Best,
Lexi

Using QSDR reconstructed FIB files to generate tracts would be a quick solution here.
Best regards,
Frank

Thank you - I will go with QSDR. Is there a simple way to just visualize the tracks that pass through two regions? I know in the GUI we can select which tracks to visualize (e.g., ArcuateFasciculusL), but my main goal here is to visualize all tracks that pass through regions MFG_L_7_7 and INS_L_6_4 from Brainnectome so I don't want to pre-define what tracts generally, but instead visualize all streamlines that connect those two regions.

Thanks for your help!

Best,
Lexi

In GUI, we can set these two regions as ROI, and then filter tracks by ROI (function under the tract menu).

Best,
Frank
