to DSI Studio

Dear Dr. Yeh,

Thank you very much for developing DSI Studio and making it such a useful tool. It has been very helpful for our work.

I am seeking your advice on how to describe the bundle-specific FDR values reported in DSI Studio connectometry results.

My understanding is that, after whole-brain connectometry, segmented bundles can be summarized by tract statistics such as mean length, and that the corresponding bundle-specific FDR is related to tract length in the connectometry output. However, I want to ensure that I describe the methodology and statistical interpretation correctly.

Would it be accurate to describe this value as a length-dependent FDR derived from the whole-brain permutation-based connectometry framework, rather than as a separate inferential test performed independently for each bundle?

If possible, could you also point me to the best reference for this, whether a paper, documentation page, or another source that explains the method? I would be very grateful, as I want to make sure the wording in the manuscript is fully precise.

Thank you again for your time and guidance.

Best regards,

Taravat Rasooli
