Connectometry - permutation test via CLI

Hello Prof. Yeh,

I'm trying to repeat the default connectometry study through the CLI (variables: 0 - age, 1 - gender, 2 - group membership).

./dsi_studio --action=cnt --source=db.fib.gz --demo=data/demographics.csv --variable_list=0,1,2 --voi=2 --no_tractogram=0 --exclude_cb=0 --length_threshold=10 --permutation=4000

No permutation test pictures are generated after running this command. I talk about images with the caption "Fig. Permutation test showing the histograms of track counts with ...", they are not displayed on the html page with the results of the study, they are also not included in the results files.

What is missing that causes the permutation test pictures not to be generated?

DSI Studio tried to call the GUI to generate figures, but it may not
be functional on Mac or Linux.
This is a known limitation, and unfortunately, I haven't found a solution yet.

Is it possible to save the data used to plot the graphs to render them later?

Yes, I did that all the time. The tracts were saved so you don't need
CLI to render them.

And is it possible to get the data on which these graphs are plotted in order to plot them later, since they are not generated through the CLI?

Yes, they are all saved as text files under the same directory.
