Dear Dr. Yeh,

I am writing to you today because I have encountered an issue with DSI Studio (Hou CPU version for Windows) that I have been unable to solve. I have been using the software for several months without any problems.

Normally, I save my workspaces and reopen them later without any issues. However, I have recently reconstructed a tract (the mammillothalamic, a short and light one), and when I reopen the saved workspace, the tract appears fragmented and shorter.

The tract appears correctly if I change the rendering style from "tube" to "line." I have also tried saving the individual tract as a .tt.gz file, but the same problem persists upon reopening (alone or in the workspace). I have noticed this issue with another tract as well (the anterior thalamic radiation). I've already download the latest version of the software, but the problem is still there.

Could you please advise on how to fix this issue so that I can correctly save and reopen my tracts?

I have attached some screenshots to illustrate the problem.

Thank you very much for your time and help.

Sincerely,

Marco Obersnel.

You may try [File][Restore Rendering Settings] to see if it works.
If still having the problem, you may send me the FIB file and the tt.gz file, and I will fix the bug.
Frank
