Hi all,

I recently found autotrack function very convenient for quick demonstration of dMRI fiber tracking. However, when after enabling autotrack, some fibers show significantly asymmetry (on healthy subjects), e.g. Arcuate_Fasciculus_R compared to Arcuate_Fasciculus_L. Could it be the problem of the autotrack atlas or we should do some registration processing before autotrack?

The Arcuate fasciculus is known to be highly asymmetric, and some paper even mentioned that the right AF could not be found in certain subjects.
Best regards,
Frank

Hi Frank,

Thank you for the quick response and the info. I often found the Arcuate_Fasciculus_R shows visible fewer fibers compared the _L, so I have this question here.
