Hello,
when running automatic fiber tracking on the medial forebrain bundle (MFB) it's only shows projections from the brainstem regions to the subcortical areas (Nacc and septum) but lacks the remaining elements of the Superolateral MFB that projects to different areas of the prefrontal cortex.
Does anyone have a clue why this happens?
Kind regards
Alexander L. Monjesi

Fiber tracking may not be able to map a complete pathway due to the
geometry of bundles and/or image acquisition limitations.
You may check out the tutorial videos about the limitations of fiber
tracking at practicum.labsolver.org to get more details.
