to DSI Studio
Hi,
I hope someone may have had experience with the XA60A Siemens system. I am sorry if my issue is not directly related to DSI Studio.
We recently upgraded our 3T siemens scanner from E11E system to XA60A system. We have collected a DSI sequence with no issue to analyze in DSI Studio until the upgrade. Since then, the export seems to have changed the dcm files we get. After importing the DSI sequence (we get 97 dcm files, for 96 directions) in DSI Studio (and get the .src.gz file), it gives me over 7000 lines in the "Check your raw DWI data" section, with one line per slice and per bvalue; and it does not reconstruct the whole brain. Everything is 2D. Alternatively, we can export each slice into dcm files and have over 7000 dcm files, and I can import it in DSI Studio and I am able to reconstruct the data correctly with 3D files. However, the latter approach is not doable long term as it is too many files.
I was hoping that either someone has been through this issue before and know what options we could change. Alternatively, is there an option in DSI Studio that will allow to reconstruct the brain in 3D (and combine all the slices per b value) before the preprocessing?

Thank you for any help,

Could you update DSI Studio to the most recent version and see if it works?

Thank you for the quick response!
Using the most up to date version, it works!
In the meantime, I figured out that if I converted the dcm to nii before importing in DSI Studio, it was also working. So it must have been something related to reading the dcm files incorrectly with the older version of DSI Studio.
Thank you so much!
Gaelle
