Connectivity Matrix Threshold

Dear Dr. Yeh 

I would like to ask, if it is not too much trouble, for a quick clarification regarding the connectivity matrix. When selecting a threshold of 0.0010 of the sum, does "sum" refer to the sum of all values within the matrix?

It is the 0.001 of the maximum value of the matrix.
In the most recent version, DSI Studio removed this thresholding
because users can easily threshold the matrices using MATLAB or
python.

Is this valid even if i use the dti_fa as the feature inside the matrix ?
