DTI or GQI in fiber tracking with DTI sequence?

Dear all,

I want to perform fiber tracking and differential/correlational tractography with

DWIs with sequence designed for DTI (b=1000, 30 directions).

I know this sequence is suboptimal , but my question is, is this sequence still acceptable/fine for exploratory analysis?

In addition, in this case, is GQI still a better option than DTI in fiber tracking?
