Hi Frank,

Quick and easy question. You list QIR on the "How to interpret dMRI" page and suggest that decrease QIR may indicate demyelination or inflammation. Is there a reference to go with that assertion? If not, what is that interpretation based on? Is it simply the semi-intuitive aspect that you have more ISO than QA?

When we look at situations involving demyelination or inflammation, we've consistently observed that QA tends to decrease while ISO values increase. Given this pattern, it makes good sense that QIR would also be expected to drop.
