Great!!

BTW, as I have told some people at the Shuvatara school, I will be
able to supply a bunch of Intel devices to the recipient schools, once
we have a good set of videos to distribute. I'm working with Intel on
these devices.

Dear Randy .Hope all goes great with you .
We have been trying to shoot as many teachers as possible . At Tika
Vidyashram and At Sanchetna- the little school on the slope . Tika
kids are getting used to us and its helpiong towards interactive class
teaching.
We are shooting every day till the end of this week- ie Friday . Mid
term exams begin very soon , so well stop for that . The Dussera
holidays take place for one month , for then whole school except the
class tenners . These come in for tutorial classes for the board exams
and we will be open - just as skeletal staff.
But Milan, Kush, Prashant and I will be here . thru october holidays
and the government schools will be open in between Dussera and Diwali
for about two weeks . We will be shooting ourselves during the times
the teachers are not there , and trying to get teachers from other
schools to come in too. To fill in the gap made by the long holidays .
very frustating to have such long holidays in between . But nothing we
can do about it .
Will use the time to do editing, getting feedback from sister schools etc.
Yesterday I had a meeting with the sister schools and gave them a VCD
each with theree lessons each . They will give feedback by friday .
Also trying to use the time to do some fund-raising . With the rotary clubs.
Will contact Khomeni tomorrow to just share notes.
Hope all is well ?
Regards
Rani
PS Had a sharing of each others lessons shot in Shuvatara , teachers
apart from the three main ones who are very good. Also watched Lucknow
teachers lessons. Dr KN felt we are k but need to learn from the
Lucknow teachers .
Planning also to video Extra activity shots with teachers who can sing
rhymes, can dance, play simple games , and tell stories. Can these
also be used ?

Excellent report!!! Thanks!!! All sounds good!!!

Please keep up the good work! It's very important to keep up a good
shooting schedule and to keep cranking out good videos.

Re: "extra activities." Of course. Anything, everything, can be
tried. Anything you judge worth trying.

When you talk to Khomeini, I'm sure she will concur. She likes this
kind of stuff too.

You can also continue to work with spoke teachers including Wangccho
to get their feedback on whether they like the stuff and whether they
think it can be useful and how.

Stuff is going very well with my gig at Intel! The work on the Intel
devices has started. We will be able to supply these devices to India
and Nepal. It will take us some time though---we want to do something
serious, not just slapping together something quickly that does not
have a good future trajectory of continued improvements. So it'll
take us some thought and effort.
