Hi Kush,

38 sound good! How are the videos distributed across the grades and
subject matters? I mean, can you give me a breakdown of...

class 3 English: x videos
class 3 math: y videos
...

It would be best if we focus on finishing certain grades/subjects
instead of having videos spread across many many different grades and
subjects but not having any particular sequence near completion...

Also, needless to say, we should ensure the quality is good. The ones
I saw when I was in Nepal were good. Let's make sure that quality of
all videos are nearly as good.

Thanks,
Randy

Dear Randy

Here's the breakdown of the videos grade & subject wise:

Nowadays we are focusing more on grade 3 subjects. Also we'll be shooting of other grade subjects as soon as get time.

How are things going there on China?

Regards,
Kush

Ok thanks for the update.

I understand why the distribution of the videos across grades and subjects could be a bit scattered, perhaps because of difficulty of getting a few teachers to focus.

Still, it will be important for us to be able to have *complete* sequence of certain classes done.  Class 3 English is a good example.

To the extent you can, you should try to focus.  Only when you cannot, should you fill the shooting schedule with less focused things.

Life at Intel is good here.  I'm getting sucked into a few other things so the DSH device is a bit slow-going in the past couple weeks.

Dear Randy
Talked to Urvashi this evening finally . Shes coming over to kathmandu
first week of December to do a training, give us tips etc. And share .
Yes we need to focus on Grade Three. Some teachers never seem to have
enough of holidays.
It waa good talking to Urvashi .Its great that most of her teachers
are from her own school . She says she has to reshoot some teachers
videos for quality . We may have to do that too . Like a practical
training.
You mentioned some kind of payment from Lucknow ?? for teachers and
transport costs ? have talked to some other good schools to share
their teachers for the project . Will need to pay for transport from
different schools, or will have to find Government schools nearer
their schools and we will have to go across.
What do you feel ? Should we reshoot and keep it withing Shuvatara ?
Basically I dont mind having others . Its a joint effort .
Ok hear from you soon .
Rani
