To cater to the needs of Professionals & Academia, ARAI has started series of Proficiency Improvement Programmes (PIPs) through its Academy.

The next 3 Day Proficiency Improvement Programmes organized by ARAI, IITT & MCCIA as below:

1.      Electrical Control Elements (Level-1) from 15^th to 17^th Dec 2014 (Monday to Wednesday)

2.      Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems (Level-1) from 22^nd to 24^th Dec 2014 (Monday to Wednesday)

Highlights of these training programmes are as below:

·         Electrical Control Elements: Electrical Terminology, & Electrical Connections, Electrical Control Components, Programmable Logic Control: Introduction, Basics, and Logic.

Lab hands on: Relay Contactor, Switches, Fuses & Relay Logic Control, Circuit Breaker, Proximity Sensor, & Timer, Electrical Design on given Industrial Application, Development of Logic using Sensors and Contactors, PLC Software: Create Project, Download & Simulate, Use of NO/NC Contact, Use of timers in PLC.

·         Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems: Principle of Hydraulic & Pneumatic System, Application of Hydraulic Power, Hydraulic & Pneumatic Components (Format- definition, use, construction, installation), Interfacing of push button, selector switch & electrical elements etc.

Lab hands on: Study of hydraulic components & design a circuit, Study of pneumatic components & design a circuit, Driving components of hydraulic & pneumatic system, interfacing of hydraulic & pneumatic components with electrical & design a circuit.
