Is it possible to add a column to enter a date for the income or deduction?

Nope. Sorry!

dsBudget version 3 (under development at the moment) will let you enter deduction as "recurring expense" with a date on it. I haven't figured out how the date should transition to a new month.. Do you have any suggestion? 

No date for income.
