Hi, I tried changing the dsbudget.user.conf file to have a line:

document = backup.2016-01-23.17-53-15-BudgetDocument.xml

but it still opens the last one I worked on.

Possibly it is looking an a different directory ...?

Not sure how this works, I have always only been able to open only one budget.

Ideally, I want to have multiple budgets, possibly on different memory sticks. With the program on one or more laptops.

Any ideas appreciated.

Mike

Hi,

This is just to bump the query. My goal is to access an older budget, but I can't seem to make it happen.  I saved the old budget with a different name, but I can't seem to get DsB to look at it.  I am running Windows 10 Home.

I am attempting to do this on a USB memory stick so I can move it from machine to machine.

Is it possible that I should not have the program installed on the PC itself, but only have it on the stick?

Thanks,

Mike

Michael,

Yes, you should be able to install it on your USB and carry it around with you.

You can put your old document by replacing the BudgetDocument.xml inside the dsbudget/ directory.
