Dear Professors,

There is going to be a weeklong series of lectures in "information theory and computer science" for second and third year undergraduate students from universities across Asia. The great thing about it is that they cover all the costs (airfare, housing, meals, etc) once the student's application is accepted.

Can you please forward this advertisement to students at Sharif. The application deadline is in 18 days, by Nov. 1.

Chinee University of Hong Kong

The ITCSC Winter School is a weeklong series of lectures and academic activities for second and third year undergraduate students from universities across Asia. It takes place in January every year at the Chinese University in Hong Kong.

This theme of this year's winter school is the interplay between computer science and information theory. The program will combine academic learning, cultural exchange, and community exploration. The lectures will be delivered by renowned professors. Besides, there will be a city exploration tour for the participants on the last day of the program.

Students of computer science and electrical engineering from universities across Asia are welcome to apply. Invitations will be sent to a selected number of students based on the quality of your application and budgetary considerations. Should you be invited, ITCSC will cover your round-trip airfare to Hong Kong, your accommodation, and your meals.

The ITCSC winter school is a great opportunity to find out about Hong Kong's academic environment, meet talented students from across Asia, and explore an interesting city.
