For years I have put up
with this, and every update to Pr, it stays the same.
I guess it's from being spoiled with DS Developers, and covering
all the bases with code writing. BUT..
everytime I export a clip, even if it's a 5 second clip with one
audio track from a one hour show, the dang encoder pre-renders
all 24 audio files in the sequence before it even starts on the
one short video clip. I only need one track as a ref. and it
always re-renders all the audio every time.
It never keeps track of the renders.
I guess 44K AIFF files from CD, are a non realtime export thing,
and should have been transcoded to WAV once in a sequence
perhaps ?
My seq is 48 khz., thus another reason it may do this. DS never
had this issue !! Or if it did render them, it would not
re-render a seq. with no changes.
Nor would any system I ever worked on render all tracks in a
sequence before outputting one small clip from it.
