You need to translate Y by line count integer. In other words,
your text needs to move up exactly 1, 2, 3, 4... lines per frame.
For UHD start with 4 lines and see if that gives you a good speed.
There is really no good way to defeat aliasing other than this
method. And this is something I think I learned from Sylvain.

Kind of OT, but does anyone know how the crazy offset values in Resolve relate to pixels/lines?

The XY translation values in the edit page are pixels. The Fusion
translation values are generally normalized to the screen size.
For example, translating X by 1.0 moves it to the right by the
screen width.
