Just building a "compare offline edit to conform edit" difference keyer in Resolve.
Was actually surprised to see there is no difference keyer in Resolve.  There is one in Fusion, which is what i'm using, and have built a nice little macro from it.  DS used to have a difference keyer, and i guess i just always assumed it was a standard tool, but i don't see one in Resolve, or Boris or Sapphire, or Media Composer.  Any ideas on what other tools could be used inside those items to build a similar device?

For Media Composer get the free xBlend plugin. And the note above was for Resolve.

Didn't even think of that!

Although my fusion node gives me a big red blast when it senses a difference...Yours is a much easier setup.

Also, if you embed the QT ref or offline ref sequence in Resolve, 'difference matte' is one of the options you can use to split. Plus, you can turn it on and off with a hot key and it down't take up a layer in the timeline. Super fast...
