Meeting Tuesday, August 18 at Chico's, plan to be
there, 6:00 pm.
With prospects for a little cooler
weather coming our way fishing on the local lakes should be
improving. From Matt's report at the last meeting Stan Coffin has
been putting out some nice bass, and reports from Banks have been real good
for smallmouth. Every time I go by Trail lake there are always a few
fishermen. Maybe it's time to do some prospecting on some of these lakes
that seem to hold up during the hot weather we've been getting.
Usually by end of August and Sept. Lenore and Dry
Falls should start producing with the cooler weather. Now is a good time
to make plans for the next couple of months and if there is interest in having
some club outings. Maybe another barbecue would be an idea, the steak feed
we had at Soap Lake after installing Lake Lenore signs last spring was
great. Anyway, let's kick around some ideas.
Tight lines, ><((
